KUMIZHI TRUST Kumizhi Foundation
Pillar 4 of 7 | Allocation: INR 65 Crore (13.0% of DPR)

Component 4 - Education, Digital Learning and Youth Development

Proposed Allocation: INR 65 Crore

Component Scope & Methodology

The education component supports school children, youth and adult learners through digital access, remedial learning, libraries, scholarships, career guidance, sports and educational infrastructure support. The profile records early emphasis on non-formal adult education and later diversification into children's education and computer education projects. This component converts that history into a fundable education programme.

Rural students often face a digital divide, limited exposure to career options, weak English and computer confidence, and inadequate after-school support. The project will establish community digital learning centres, support government schools, provide learning materials and create mentoring systems. Education support will be linked with hygiene, health and family livelihood to reduce dropout risk.

All school-based work shall be implemented with school administration, education department or local body permission where required. Scholarships and individual support shall follow transparent criteria and documented approval.
