Component 3 - Health, Nutrition and Medical Outreach
Proposed Allocation: INR 70 Crore
Component Scope & Methodology
This component will expand preventive, promotive and referral-based health access in rural communities. The activity profile records medical camps, eye donation camps, blood donation camps and free medical check-up camps. The DPR builds this into a structured health outreach system with regular calendars, medical partners, referral tracking and vulnerable household follow-up.
The Trust shall not operate clinical services beyond legally permissible limits without required registrations, medical professionals and approvals. Health camps will be conducted with qualified medical practitioners, hospitals, laboratories and government/private partners where needed. Records shall be maintained for attendance, screening, referrals, medicines, follow-up and consent wherever required.
Nutrition support will focus on vulnerable children, adolescent girls, pregnant and lactating mothers, elderly persons and medically vulnerable families. The component will combine awareness, screening, supplementation where approved, referral and follow-up instead of one-time distribution.
