Component 6 - Child, Elderly, Disability, Destitute and Tribal Welfare
Proposed Allocation: INR 45 Crore
Component Scope & Methodology
This component addresses households and persons who are often excluded from general development schemes due to age, disability, social isolation, destitution, lack of documentation, or geographic and cultural marginalisation. The uploaded profile specifically records a social concern to survey primitive tribes and present their financial and social situation to government and people. This DPR includes that concern as an evidence-based welfare and advocacy activity.
Support for children will focus on education continuation, nutrition, health, protection awareness and family vulnerability. Elderly and destitute persons may receive health care support, assistive items, linkage to entitlements, basic care and referral. Persons with disabilities may be supported through assistive devices, therapy linkage, education inclusion, livelihood support and accessibility improvements.
Tribal and highly marginalised community support shall begin with respectful survey, socio-economic documentation, service access gap identification and linkage plans. The Trust shall avoid intrusive, discriminatory or tokenistic approaches and shall follow ethical consent, dignity and community participation principles.
